We are a small cask ale house in the city centre of Cardiff, right opposite the picturesque front entrance of Cardiff Castle. Inside you'll find a range of local Cask ales from Brains Brewery which is situated just down the road from us including Brains Dark, Brains Bitter and straight off our back stillage and served right out of the cask Brains SA. To complement this we also have a revolving guest ale and regularly feature a host of new and interesting craft ales from Brains
If you find yourself hungry we offer a menu consisting entirely of pies ranging from the classical steak & ale right through to the more adventurous curried mutton or Pork, Bacon & black pudding. They're all home made as all good pies should be!
