The Hanbury Arms is a fascinating 16th Century Coaching Inn located right next to the River Usk. The history of the pub included links to Alfred Lord Tennyson who used to stay in the pub and wrote some of his poetry here.
With some great traditional ales and a superb homecooked menu available all day every day, the Hanbury is the perfect stop point if travelling or a great place to spend a few hours. A huge beer garden overlooks the river and Caerleon Bridge with plenty of room for the whole family. Also has two lively quiz nights on a Sunday and Tuesday where your general knowledge skills are well and truly tested. Twice a month you can enjoy live Jazz in the bar in the afternoon while tucking into a great home cooked roast dinner. The Hanbury – the place the whole family can enjoy.
