Recruitment Process

Thank you for taking an interest in leased and tenanted opportunities with Brains. Whether you're new to the industry or are looking for more information, please take note of the following recruitment process we use:

STAGE 1
Please check that you have the appropriate qualifications before you apply. For more information and to check what you need, click here.

STAGE 2
To register your interest and so that we have a record of information about you, please fill in and return the Application Form to glenda.harding@sabrain.com

STAGE 3
You will be contacted by telephone for an informal chat with the Business Development Manager. Then, if relevant, an informal interview will be arranged.

STAGE 4
You will now be able to view the entire premises that you have in mind and will be provided with information regarding overheads, trade figures, rents, rates and services.

STAGE 5
You will be asked to complete a Business Plan as accurately as possible for the pub that you have applied for. Here, you will also need to establish any financial investment in writing. We recommend that you seek independent advice when producing these documents. If you prefer, the Business Development Manager can recommend a business accountant if you would like assistance.

STAGE 6
You will be contacted to attend a Final Interview, whereby your Business Plan will be discussed in full.

STAGE 7
If successful, you will receive your Offer Letter detailing any important matters relating to the running of your business and you will now have time to read over the Lease or Tenancy Agreement before signing it. Once signed, it is a legally binding document.

STAGE 8
Valuation of stock, fixtures and fittings and payments to outgoing tenants or SAB will usually be finalised on your Day of Takeover.
