  • Café Phoenix 4.4%

    Café Phoenix is a rich, dark and smooth Porter with flavours of caramel, toffee and coffee. It blends seven malts, with each adding to the beer’s complexity and depth of flavour, from the sweet caramel notes of Crystal through to the roasted flavours from Brown, Chocolate and Carafa III. Single-hopped with UK Phoenix, a hop that adds flavours of molasses and chocolate, Café Phoenix is accentuated with a coffee blend exclusive to Brains, selected for its mellow but full flavour.

  • Squashed 4.3%

    Squashed has been brewed with pumpkins grown at Hendrewennol and in the gardens of our Ty Mawr pub in North Cardiff. A pint that’s distinctive orange in colour, Squashed has sweet, roasted pumpkin flavours balanced with a complex blend of spices including cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice

  • Polar Beer 5.0%

    Polar Beer is a sunshine yellow blonde ale, brewed with Polaris, a new-generation German hop. We’ve commemorated our first use of this hop by naming the beer after it, Polaris being another name for Pole or North Star. Ale and lager malts combine to create a smooth, crisp malty base with a sweet nose, followed by refreshingly light and distinctive herbal flavours from the Polaris hop.

  • A-Pork-Alypse 4.5%

    A-Pork-Alypse is a double-chocolate and bacon porter inspired by the eclectic brews of the States. Made up of a grist of Chocolate, Brown, Dark Crystal and Smoked malt, with freshly grilled bacon and cacao nibs added to the boil, A-Pork-Alypse has the nose of a bag of pork scratching with flavours of delicious chocolate and smoked meatiness. This is a porky porter you’ll either love or hate.

  • Rye Catcher 5.0%

    Rye Catcher is an American Rye beer brewed in collaboration with Glenn Payne. Rye and rye crystal malts provide a spicy malt base and a vibrant copper colour to this beer which is powerfully hopped with Apollo, Columbus, Amarillo and Citra hops from the USA, producing an assertive bitterness with robust flavours of citrus and grapefruit.

  • Frisco 4.4%

    A California Common brewed with San Francisco Lager Yeast and a trio of American hops; Cluster, Willamette and Chinook. This style of beer is often referred to as “steam” beer due to the relatively warm fermentation temperature.

  • Green Dragon 4.1%

    Green Dragon has been brewed to celebrate the annual British hop harvest. Fresh 'green' Progress hops from Newnham Farm in Worcester and Pilgrim hops from the gardens of our Ty Mawr pub in North Cardiff have been used to create the distinctive 'green hop' character in this refreshing pale ale.

  • Little Sipper 3.5%

    A golden, hoppy ale with aromas of grapefruit, peach, citrus and pine. Little Sipper features light, crisp flavours and low ABV, making it the perfect beer to start off the year.

  • Vic's Secret 4.2%

    Vic’s Secret is the fourth in a series of single hopped lagers, brewed with 100% lager malt and the Vics Secret hop. Originating from the state of Victoria in Australia, Vic’s Secret is a new hop that delivers clean passion fruit and pineapple flavour with a light background of herbs and piney resin to this crisp, dry and refreshing beer.

  • Cherry Baby 4.0%

    This Belgian-style beer is brewed with Belgian Golden Ale yeast and sweet cherries. Light and refreshing, this fruity beer bursts with sweet, cherry flavours.
