Congratulations to the Kings Arms, Pentyrch, who have been crowned the Pub of the Year at the Welsh Hospitality Awards.
The Kings Arms scooped South East Pub of the Year and overall Welsh Pub of the Year at the awards ceremony at Portland House, Cardiff on Sunday 12 November.
The beautiful pub has been managed by Brains tenants Owen and Helena Robbins since the end of March 2017 and underwent a full refurbishment to enhance the original features and bring a little more warmth into this countryside location.
It’s the second accolade in as many months for the Kings Arms, having recently been included in the prestigious Good Pub Guide for 2018.
Following the enormous success of the inaugural Welsh Hospitality Awards in 2016, the second annual Welsh Hospitality Awards celebrated the hard work of the best professionals and businesses in the Welsh hospitality industry.
Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Oceanic, said: “We are delighted by the support we have had from the Welsh public who have voted for their favourites to show them the appreciation they deserve. The awards aim to celebrate the most dedicated and successful hospitality professionals and businesses in Wales.”
