Cask Ale Week 2018 - Brains reveals the Ultimate Ale Food Pairing List

This year for Cask Ale Week, we will be celebrating all things food and ale by revealing our Ultimate Ale Food Pairing List.

We believe that for every meal there is a perfect pint to pair with it, and we’ve made sure that our extensive choice of cask ale covers a range of flavours so that your food experience will always be elevated.

When it comes to beer and food pairings, our list focuses on cask ale choices that both enhance and compliment the food so that both can be enjoyed together - but also appreciated separately for their flavours.

There are two key principles to pairing food with ale. When it comes to light, creamy dishes we suggest crisp, refreshing beers to cut through the flavours. However when it comes to more intense, bolder dishes, the best choice is a rounder, smoother ale that compliments the flavours as opposed to compete with them.

And now, pairing food with ale has never been easier!
