A well located community pub with great scope to improve sales through food and functions. The Great Western is soon to undergo a major transformation inside and out to be the go to pub for good value food and drink in Ammanford.

Our vision for the Great Western is to create a great local with good value pub food. The investment planned will aim to provide a traditional, comfortable environment with a defined bar area and improved dining environment. Externally the pub will be redecorated and benefit from new signage to communicate and reflect the changes inside.

 

The overall aim is to build upon the core wet trade with a convivial bar atmosphere and drive food sales with a more extensive menu and introduce Sunday lunch. The first floor function room provides additional covers for busy trading periods and an opportunity to offer a space for events. The rear of the pub will see an improved garden/smoking area as part of the investment.

 

The Great Western presents a good opportunity for someone who is community focussed and can deliver a consistent food offer. We are seeking an experienced pub professional who shares our vision to operate the premises on a new 5 year Advantage Tenancy Agreement.
