Pubs have been at the heart of our business since 1882. Since then we have come a long way, and now have over 120 managed houses. 

We’re still a family run business which means we have a fantastic friendly culture. You can find us across Wales and into South West England running a variety of pubs and hotels that welcome customers from the local community, the high street plus more rural and coastal areas. Induction and Training

We want you to be the best. So, from day one we’ll provide you with the tools you need to succeed. You’ll be welcomed aboard with open arms and a ‘Cwtch’ induction (we are Welsh after all). After a tour of the brewery you’ll get to meet everyone in our Support Centre and put a face to the name.

Next, you’ll be heading to your own pub one with one of our experienced Managers, who will work through your training plan with you to give you the skills to do an amazing job.

It doesn’t stop there – your Line Manager and Training Team are on hand to support you and provide you with everything you need to develop yourself, your team and your pub.

Recruitment Process

We want to make applying for a job at Brains as easy as possible for you.  We regularly update our vacancies. If you can’t see the right job for you today drop us an email at and we’ll keep in touch.

We respond to all applications because we want you to be kept in the loop. If your application is successful you’ll be asked to come to an interview, meet our team and find out if the job is right for you and you’re right for us.

You may then be invited to a second interview where you’ll be asked to present a business plan on the pub you want to join. If you’re successful after interview you’ll be offered a position with us. We’ll then ask for references, ask you to complete all relevant paperwork, and we’ll keep in touch right up until your first day just in case you need anything.

We’ll do our very best to give you helpful feedback whatever the outcome, after all, we appreciate the time you have taken to apply and hope our paths cross again.
