The Old Brewery founded in the heart of Cardiff has remained in family ownership since 1713. Brains moved to a larger site in Crawshay Street in the year 2000, and this is where our Support Centre is now based.

Support Centre roles are a key ingredient to making sure our businesses run as smoothly as our beers. We want enthusiastic hard working people to join us. A mix of skills and experiences are welcome, as roles here vary from Sales to Finance or Marketing to Resourcing.

Induction and Training

When you join our Support Centre Team you’re joining our family. We pride ourselves on our thorough induction and know that you’ll be impressed.

Within your first day you’ll have been personally introduced to all staff in our building (remember to pop your “remembering head” on for all the names) and be well and truly familiar with the building and its surroundings.

Our Head Brewer will then take you on a tour of our famous Brewery, talking you through the entire brewing process.  
We also encourage everyone to work a shift in one of our pubs, giving you an understanding of how a Managed House works -  it's a great opportunity to meet the Teams and some of our customers too. 

Your training will then be defined with your Team and Line Manager, and will continue throughout your career with us.

Recruitment Process

If you are looking to join us in a role within our Support Centre then your application will be sent directly to the lovely folks in the Resourcing Team.  They’ll respond to all applications because we want you to be kept in the loop. If your application is successful, you’ll be asked to come to an interview, meet our Team and find out if the job is right for you (and you’re right for us).

Interviews for these roles are usually held at our Support Centre itself which is on the site of our Brewery in Cardiff.  It's an interesting change to visit an iconic landmark and take a look behind the scenes.

Dependent on the role there could be more than one stage of interviews.  These could take different formats e.g. assessment centres or presentations, but we promise to put you at ease and make the recruitment experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible.

If you’re successful after interview you’ll be offered a position with us. We’ll then ask for references, ask you to complete all relevant paperwork, and discuss a date for your induction and first day.  Good Luck!
